Climb to the top of the Cumberland Mountains!
This challenging 6.2-mile road race in Southwest Virginia boasts more than a 2,000-foot elevation gain as it climbs from downtown Norton to the 4,200-foot High Knob summit in the Jefferson National Forest. The High Knob summit is the highest point in the Cumberland Mountains. The 13th annual climb will be held October 3, 2026. This race is also part of the 2026 High Knob Triple Crown running series.
